So June is almost upon us, and that means NZ Music Month is almost complete. Is is just me or has this been a massive fizz this year?

Apart from some local TV and radio running small promos I have not come across any gigs promoting such a cause. I know the month is about promoting the smaller, lesser known musicians, but the official website seems to lack some well known names.

Where is the Liam Finn’s, Shihads, Shapeshifters, TIKI’s, Opensouls, Op Shop’s etc? Oh that’s right probably on European tours. Nice try but I’ll stay at home instead of going to see `The Kitchen Table Sessions’ play.
